ACADEMICS

Entrepreneurship Program

Our entrepreneurship program is available to 10th, 11th and 12th graders, empowering students to develop future-ready skills while creating and REAL businesses.

This full year program offers students a collaborative, authentic entrepreneurship experience. Students have the opportunity to create and fully develop their own product or service startup.

Students work in teams and explore different ideas to solve problems they care about. They work with entrepreneurs and business experts, who serve as coaches and mentors, guiding them through the process of developing their ideas and creating their own enterprises. Finally, each student teams pitches their business proposal to gain investment funds in a Shark Tank style event.

Some of the skills that this program focuses on developing are:

    Communication

    Teamwork and collaboration

    Problem solving skills

    Resilience

    Public speaking

    Accountability

    Creative thinking

    Empathy

Students trade out theory and simulation for real market experiences with processes that entrepreneurs use today. Lean methods help students test their thinking. From concept to MVP to pitch, students are hypothesizing, testing, adapting and learning. Importantly, they work and learn in teams to gain valuable skills required to be college or career ready.
