About Aquinas American School Madrid

Mathema Educación

Prior to Aquinas American School, the school grounds were previously a Spanish school since 1986. In 2012, a group of founders with a strong commitment to education acquired the school and established Aquinas American School with the support of a network of families and friends. Most of those families are represented both on the Board of Directors, and as parents of current AAS students. A major reason driving all founders was the certainty of the need, in this area, of an excellent Catholic international school.

Aquinas American School belongs to Mathema Educación, an educational group founded by Antonio Arcones that also manages 2 other international schools: Atlas American School of Málaga and the International School of Navarra.

Aquinas American School is an independent project, initiated by a group of people with long experience in the educational world. It is a Catholic School not connected to any ecclesial organization, association or movement. We welcome all families who desire a Catholic education for their children and who share the ideals and educational project of the school.

Today, Mathema Educación is an educational group composed of 3 schools and a student residence.

Aquinas American School is a Catholic, college-preparatory, co-ed school, from K1 to G12, that promotes a superior academic achievement, mastery of skills and content, and fosters moral citizenship.

The International School of Navarra promotes academic excellence, mastery in both skills and knowledge, and encourages the development of responsible and virtuous people.

Atlas – American School of Malaga Our mission is to “promote superior academic achievement, mastery of skills and content, and foster moral citizenship.”
