Monday, January 27: Celebrating our School
 Students are encouraged to perform acts of kindness by distributing written prayers for others. These will
then be linked together to form a chain that will be displayed around the school’s main lobby. A special
blessing form Fr. Mario will be given at this time.
 Readings of St. Thomas Aquinas in the classrooms. Grades 3, 4 & 5
 Art exhibit illustrating various aspects of Catholic faith. Grades 1– 5
Drawings and paintings should be the students’ original work. Participants can enter only one
submission. All submitted pieces must be on white A4 construction p aper. Students’ names should be
written on the back of the paper. These pieces will be exhibited during CSW week at the school´s main
lobby. They should be submitted by January 24 to the Lower School Principal.
Tuesday, January 28: Celebrating our Faith and Families in our School
 Mass in honor of St. Thomas Aquinas. Siblings and families may sit together during mass. (Please inform
us if parents will be attending mass in order to reserve the necessary space.)
 We will recognize siblings within the school by displaying photos of them.
 Classroom door-decorating contest based on the CSW theme: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.
Wednesday, January 29: Celebrating Leadership and Service in our School
 Read alouds: Older students will read to younger students in the school.
 Bake Sale, organized by 5D students to benefit Harapan Project—Sumbawa, Indonesia. On this day, students from grades 1-5 buy home baked pastries from 5th grade students. All proceed benefit children
from the Harapan Project. Donations 1-3 €.
Thursday, January 30: Celebrating our Faith
 Eucharistic Adoration from 9:00– 12:30
 Students will learn more about the lives of saints who are important to families: Saint Joseph, Saint Anne,
Saint John Bosco, Saint Francis of Assisi, St. Patrick, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Francis Xavier, …
 Saint’s Parade with Father Mario participation
 Students will hand out Stars to our star teachers to recognize each of them personally.
Friday, January 31: Celebrating Faculty, Staff and Students
 Teacher and Staff Appreciation Coffee – TSAC organized by AAS parents. This activity recognizes teachers
and staff for their dedication and hard work. This takes place from 10:00 to 11:30 at the main lobby. Parents willing to help by either organizing or bringing food should express their commitment by sending an
email to:
 NUT DAY – No-Uniform Today Day.
