Our curriculum allows access to the University in Spain or abroad

At Aquinas American School, we look for an integral teaching. A training that combines the acquisition of curricular content, the development of personal skills of inquiry, reflection and communication, and the formation of a personality with a critical spirit, an international mentality and a vocation for leadership and service to the community. Our curriculum allows access to the University in Spain or abroad.

PRESCHOOL
K1 – K2 (1º – 3º PRESCHOOL)

Preschool education is considered part of what is called early childhood education in the United States. The first two years of Kindergarten are K1 (3-4) and K2 (4-5), where we provide a comprehensive curriculum that fosters children’s development, encourages them to communicate, collaborate, create and grow in critical thinking.

K3 is a pivotal year dedicated to children becoming accustomed to school routines, the learning process and approach as well as the social skills involved in making new friends.

Middle School

6th – 8th Grade

AAS teachers train students to develop analytical, creative and communication tools. The focus of our curriculum is on achieving mastery of these skills through collaborative inquiry in a fully individualized learning environment through the study of languages, arts, mathematics, science and social sciences.

Our Middle School provides a balanced academic program incorporating study, sports and the arts, but our goal is much more ambitious: we want the children to think for themselves.
